I’ve found it. Well, Babeland found it. But I have it! And it’s amaaaaaazing!
This baby is luxe. It’s fleece on the inside, leather on the outside, and an adjustable elastic band around the back.
Is it comfortable? You bet your booty! It’s shaped so that the material folds into soft cups over the eyes. It doesn’t stick out a ton, but it does give you enough room to comfortably open and blind your eyes under it. No weird blindfold eye pressure here! The strap is also adjustable for a prime fit.
I find the back elastic to be super comfortable for long-term wear. The leather is really soft and supple. From the pictures online, I thought this was going to be stiffer- more the texture of that thin craft foam that kids use for projects- but this is very very soft. And it smells amazing. I am in love. Very neat craftsmanship too.

As far as light-blockage, this is the only blindfold I’ve tried that leaves me NO visibility whatsoever: no shine-through, and no slivers around the bridge of the nose. Nothing.
The name of this blindfold (pony blinders!) and the look of the leather may be a little too BDSM for some, but there is no denying that once it’s on you’ll be very impressed. I do wish Babeland would change the name though- Pony Blinders seems so pony-play-ish that I would expect it to be more fetish-y than it is. Compared to the other stiff leather blindfold that I reviewed once upon a time, this one is extremely luxurious and wonderful. I really can’t say enough about how great this blindfold is. I am in love.
The search for the perfect blindfold is over!
I give the pony blinders 5.5 out of 5 stars. It’s a steal at $32. THANK YOU, Babeland, for sending me this rockin’ product in exchange for a fair and honest review! It’s one of my new favorites!
Make sure you go check out my BDSM on a Budget page, where you can find a round-up of all the rockin’ things from Babeland that I’ve gotten to try- none of which will break the bank. Love it!

Hmmm. You mentioned (gushed) that you are in love. Twice. Without any reference to lust. Could this be the REAL thing ?
I think it may be time to change my facebook status to “it’s complicated!”
